I am starting to run webinars a few times each week, only for teachers.

This webinar goes over one of the most important things you can learn in regard to your retirement. I show you why you should consider saving for retirement for yourself in addition to your pension and which of those retirement plans is likely to be your best choice. I know it can seem that the different retirement plans are similar and the difference between one and the other is minimal, but that is not true.
In fact, the difference between the best plan and the worst plan can be tens of thousands of dollars (or even more!) at retirement. What is worse is that around 80% of teachers are stuck in one of those inferior retirement plans and they don’t even know it! These plans that the vast majority of teachers have chosen secretly siphon hundreds or even thousands of dollars a year from the teacher’s account. In fact, between all the teachers across the country in these plans, the yearly heist adds up to a grand total of $3 BILLION stolen from teachers each and every year.
And this has been happening for a few decades completely unnoticed….until now.
See what other teachers have had to say about my webinar!
This webinar is a must watch for all teachers. If you are already saving in a retirement plan outside of your pension, it would certainly be worth a little bit of time to ensure that you have the correct plan. If you are not already saving in a retirement plan, then clearly you would like to have this knowledge before you sign any papers and commit to a plan that may leave you well short of where you could (and deserve to be) at retirement.
While it is a good thing that teachers have several options when it comes to choosing a retirement plan, you are not given any direction by your district on which plan is likely to be the best for you. On top of that, there is a ton of information out on the internet and it is hard to know exactly what is right and what is incorrect (let alone who is writing that information and what their motivation might be). I hope you have seen through this blog that I am an unbiased source who consistently put the teacher’s interests first.

Thank you Steve! My district won’t give any advice on which of the plans they offer or give a recommendation. I usually don’t care or think very much about retirement or investing, I hope watching this will be all the time I need to take learning about this stuff for awhile.

I hope so too. I actually talk about the “One Hour a Year” retirement account maintenance plan. If you’re willing to do up to one hour per year looking at a retirement account, you can control your own account better than 97% of the financial advisors out there who work with teachers. I know that sounds like an outrageous claim but I can prove it!

I just watched the webinar a few days ago. I learned so much in 30 minutes. I really can’t thank you enough for putting all of this information together. Based on your story, I know you’ve put a lot of hard work into this and I don’t want you to think it has gone unappreciated. I’m going to forward this link to a bunch of my co-workers.

If there is one profession that deserves to have someone, a body of people, or an organization to look out for their best interests; it is the teaching profession. It is bad enough that civic leaders, state and local officials do not have any intention of trying to compensate teachers with a bigger piece of the tax payer dollars. In fact, it is a travesty that men and women who are passionate and dedicated to raising our children (yeah, I said it) are not paid their true worth.

100% agree. Considering all of the lip service paid to education by politicians and by parents, you would think we could get greater funding for our schools and be able to properly pay teachers. But actions speak louder than words.

I like your opinion about retirement planning and i am also thinking that we can not make good tactics without a teacher who know good strategy for retirement plan but I am looking for whole life coverage.
